Welch Theatre	Westernport, Maryland
	In the early 1930's,  Westernport, which at the time had a population of 3,440 had a movie theatre known as the Star. The Star reportedly seated about 350. My references from the 1940's so far show no active theatre  ( so far ) , but by the mid 1950's, the Welsh is listed, with the town's population just a little larger, and the capacity of the theatre down to 300.
