| The Windsor opened in the 1940's and was
right next to the Hilton Theatre. Across the street was the Walbrook
Theatre. The theater closed in the 1950's , and was used for different
shops over the years. The front kept the art deco appearance for years,
but recently had a paint job and lost all the color. The Windsor Theatre in the 1980's (
below ) still had it's Art Deco flair. A recent painting of
the front has it looking much plainer today. ..............................................................................................
