............ ..............................................................Thomas Paul Photo 2003   The Underworld Adventures of Paul's Puppets ! In the story of the " Little Mermaid " , Paul's Puppets had a complete ocean of puppet fish. Above are the marionette blue fish, which were designed to swim in a school. To the upper right, the moorish fish swims alone. Below left are the goldfish, and next to them, the codfish.        Two of my favorite Paul's puppets are the diver, in a complete suit and the mermaid. ( There are more mermaid photos below ). Finally on the right,  is the crab. All these puppets are marionettes  (string  puppets) , and I can only imagine the effort it took to keep them moving during a puppet show .     Photos from The Paul Ofper Auction site, unless otherwise noted.	Baltimore is known well for it's crabs and Paul's Puppets made sure one was  included in this show.
