JoJo the Puppet
Paul's Puppets , Baltimore

.............................
Puppeteer Paul Braun had a popular puppet show which included a clown. Paul's Puppets did not have a clown in the act, and when Mr. Braun mentioned this fact to Bernie Paul, the puppet Jojo was created. It was Jojo and Edie Paul who announced every Paul's Puppet  show on WBAL TV.  Jojo's costume was made in red, white and blue and was designed by Edie Paul. There were actually two Jojo puppets, a marionette and a hand puppet. Above, Jojo can be seen with Edie Paul, before a Paul's Puppet television show.
