By all accounts, it doesn't look good for the Port ( AKA Riverside ) Theatre in Port Deposit Maryland. We checked the insurance maps, located where the theatre was and went into town, ready to grap a shot. It appears the old theatre has been torn down, and is now a town parking lot. If you know any differently, please let us know.

The Port Theatre is believed to be somewhere in this group of buildings taken in Port Deposit back in the 1940's. Kilduff's has a pretty good idea which building it is, and will have a photo soon. The theatre went by the name of the Riverside Theatre from atleast the early 1930's ( and likely into the 1920's ) and changed the name to the Port Theatre by 1946,  which lasted into the mid 1950's. The theatre seated 300 people. (  Current shot of the postcard )

The Tome School also showed movies , and is often listed as the " Tome ", listed from the late 1930's to the mid 1940's. The old school building has been razed many years ago. ( The old entrance can be seen below )
