By the 1970's,
there were four movie theaters left on Broadway in Fell's Point, the Broadway, the Cluster, the Apex, and the Leader. By 1980, only
one theater would remain open, and it was the Apex. Fell's Point is a
great location for entertainment in Baltimore, but there doesn't seem
to be much of a need for a movie theatre there. The Leader closed in
the late 1950's, after nearly 50 years of showing movies.
