This small theater is located several blocks north of The Johns Hopkins Hospital on Broadway.  Also going under the name of the Plaza Theatre,  the building is located at 1105 North  Broadway , and operated between the 1910's and 1970's. The building looks out of place in an area of row houses and construction, and is only a few blocks north of the latest Hopkins construction project.

In an area that has undergone many changes, the old theater's biggest threat might just be the expansion of the Hopkins Hospital, as blocks of vacant buildings in the area have been razed for more development. The building just south of the old theater has already been razed, and you can see in the photo construction is underway for something in front. As of December 2009 , the old theatre is still there !
