Southeast Baltimore City recently lost
a real treasure, the Grand Theatre on Conkling Street just south of Eastern Avenue.
The Grand was one of the few old movie theaters left in town that wasn't
altered or converted to other uses. Several blocks to the south you can
find the Arrow Theatre, long since converted to other uses, still standing.
We have a muchj more current picture of the Arrow on file, and
should have it posted soon.
