Hamilton Avenue and Harford Road Baltimore, Maryland ( Northeast Baltimore City )
.............	The photo to the left is the location of  Hamilton Avenue, just east of Harford Road, where for years the Avon Theatre was located. Also known as the Community Theatre, the Avon operated between  the 1920's and mid 1950's. It was torn down and a parking lot is now at the site. There is no trace of the old theatre at this location.  The old theater seated about 399 people.

Above , you can see a painted wall advertising the nearby Arcade Theatre on Harford Road. To the right, a insurance map shows the exact loaction of the theatre. Just behind the theater were bowling alleys, also since torn down.
